The Grand Carrera series was a major milestone for TAG Heuer Replica, being the first all-new new series released in almost 20 years. Launched in 2007 after four years of development, the Grand Carrera was designed to appeal to an older, more affluent demographic.

The Fake Grand Carrera Calibre 360 was planned to be the flagship of the TAG Heuer range, and a development of the Calibre 360 movement first launched in 2005. The photo above has never been published before, and we thank TAG Heuer for allowing this look into their design vault.

The Grand Carrera Calibre 360 was to have the same basic dial layout as the Tag Heuer Carrera Replica, meaning 60 seconds sweeping time at 3 o’clock; 30-minute chronograph register at 9 o’clock; and 1/ 10th and 100th second chronograph at 6 o’clock. Across the top of the dial is the power reserve for the Chronograph, which must be wound by hand via the crown.

It’s a handsome watch that would have been a worthy successor to the Carrera 360 and flagship to the Best Tag Heuer Replica range back in 2010/ 11 when this watch would have been launched had development continued.

TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre Heuer 02T Special Edition

Inside the TAG Heuer Carrera Replica watch is a complex tourbillon that is actually the only COSC-certified tourbillon-chronograph currently on the market. For a movement, the watch employs a TAG Heuer Caliber Heuer 02 caliber.

You can catch a glimpse of the tourbillon through the window at 6 o’clock, where the sub-seconds dial is usually located. At 9 o’clock there is a 12-hour chronograph counter that is decked out with a stylized S.

A 30-minute counter takes up the 3 o’clock position. The Tag Heuer Replica 02 caliber operates on a balance frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. There are 33 jewels in the movement. The watch has a 65 hour power reserve.

The black PVD coated sandblasted steel case for the Tag Heuer Replica Watch Special Edition measures 45mm and sports a black ceramic bezel that has been marked as a tachymeter scale. The sapphire crystal glass has been treated with an anti-reflective coating on both sides. On the back, you can see more of the 02 calibre through the sapphire that has been decorated with a special engraving in his helmet.

In 1969, the first quartz movements had been developed and were about to hit the market. But no one had yet begun to worry about an impending crisis for mechanical watches, so the world still seemed very much in order for Heuer CEO Jack Heuer. Sales of conventional, manually wound wristwatch chronographs, however, were stagnating, so in 1965 Heuer joined forces with Breitling, Büren and Dubois Dépraz to develop an automatic chronograph movement. It was called Tag Heuer Caliber 11 Replica and it went into serial production in 1969. Heuer cased the movement in an unconventional square yet nonetheless watertight stainless-steel case. Jack Heuer, a car-racing fan, named the watch the Monaco, after the Monaco Grand Prix Formula 1 race.

Carrera Heuer 02 Tourbillon Chronograph

The movement of this watch was derived from TAG Heuer’s in-house chronograph movement, Caliber CH-80, which TAG Heuer Replica Watch launched in 2014.The watch has a flying tourbillon, 32 mm in diameter and made of titanium and carbon. The movement, which has a single barrel and is COSC-certified, has a power reserve of about 65 hours. TAG Heuer makes the main movement components itself and assembles the movement at its factory in Chevenez.The case, like that of the Carrera Heuer 01, is modular and has 12 parts.
